Georgette E. David’s practice is a general practice with a primary focus on family law, estate, and trust planning; estate and trust administration; guardianship, and conservatorships.
Georgette began her Ann Arbor private practice in April 2008. Prior to that, she was Of Counsel to Lacey & Jones, LLP –Ann Arbor, formerly known as Hubris & Clinton, PC-Ann Arbor since 1995.
Georgette earned her law degree in 1985 and is a graduate of Villanova University School of Law, Villanova, PA receiving the Wapner Newman Award for Trial Advocacy. She is a 1982 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She has earned significant credits toward her LLM in Taxation from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.
Georgette is well known throughout the Washtenaw County legal community. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Washtenaw County Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan.
She participates in regular legal continuing education. Georgette is a volunteer for the University of Michigan Tax Pro Bono Panel. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Michigan State Bar and is also a member of the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the Michigan State Bar serving as a volunteer on the Legislative Development and Drafting Committee.
